Who is responsible. Jumpseat Prep is operated by Erika, a sole trader registered in Lithuania, who is responsible for your data. For anything about it, email hello@jumpseatprep.com.
Your account. If you create an account, your email address is stored so you can sign in and so your purchases can be matched to you. Your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash by our sign-in provider and cannot be read by anyone, including me. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us. Only the email address is used, to sign you in and match your purchases. Nothing else is requested from your Google account.
Your purchases. Which module you bought, how many marked answers you have left, and Paddle's reference for the transaction. Payment card details never reach this site; Paddle handles payment entirely.
Your answers. When you submit an answer it is sent for marking and the assessment comes back to your screen. If you choose to speak your answer, your microphone is used only while the answer clock is running. The recording is sent to be turned into text and is not kept: only the text is marked and saved, the same as a typed answer. If you are signed in, the question, your answer and the assessment are saved to your account so you can come back and re-read them later. You can delete any saved answer, or all of them at once, from your account page. Answers given while not signed in (the free question) are not saved; they stay on your screen until you close the tab. For paid answers a fingerprint of the question text is also kept so that extra takes at the same question aren't charged twice.
Reviews. If you leave a review, your rating, what you wrote, the name you chose to show with it, the airline you picked (if any), whether you've bought a pack, and whether you agreed to it being shown are saved to your account. It appears on the site only if you ticked the box to allow that and it has passed a check for spam and personal details. Reviews are never picked or dropped by rating. You can change or delete yours at any time from your account page.
Limiting free use. To cap free markings per person, a one-way scrambled version of your internet address is counted per day. The address itself is not stored.
Visitor statistics. To understand how the site is used, anonymous statistics are collected with PostHog, hosted in the EU: which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, where visitors arrived from, and general details such as browser, device type and country. No cookies are used and nothing is stored on your device for this, so a later visit isn't linked to an earlier one. The same tool also makes anonymous recordings of how the pages are used (where the pointer goes, what is clicked and scrolled), so that confusing screens can be found and fixed. Everything typed into a box is hidden from those recordings, and your answers, your marked assessments and the sign-in fields are left out of them completely. Your internet address isn't kept, what you type into answers is never sent, and the statistics aren't linked to your account or email. This is done on the basis of a legitimate interest in keeping the site working and improving it.
What is not collected. No video and no camera access at any point. The microphone is used only if you choose to speak an answer, and the recording is not stored. No advertising, and no tracking across other websites.
Who processes it. These services do work on my behalf and only receive what they need for it:
Your data is never sold and never used for advertising.
How long it is kept. Account and purchase records, your saved answers and your review are kept while your account exists. Saved answers you delete are removed straight away. Ask for deletion at any time and everything tied to your email is removed, except records Paddle must keep for tax purposes as the seller.
Your rights. Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. Email hello@jumpseatprep.com and it will be handled within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority; in Lithuania that is the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
Cookies and storage. This site sets no cookies of its own. A few small things are kept in your browser's own storage, only so the site works: your sign-in, so you stay signed in; which screen to return to after signing in; for up to an hour, which module you were about to buy while you sign in; and, if you pressed “Not now” on the review prompt, when you did, so it isn't shown again straight away. Visitor statistics use no cookies or storage at all. Two services can set their own cookies, and only when you use them: Google, when the "Continue with Google" button is shown on the sign-in screens, and Paddle, when you open the checkout. Their cookies are needed for sign-in and payment to work, and are covered by their own privacy policies. No advertising or tracking cookies are used, so there is nothing to consent to.
Fonts. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google, so loading a page doesn't send your internet address to anyone else.

Jumpseat Prep is an independent practice tool. Not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any airline. Airline names describe which hiring process each module practices for. Questions are written to match published competency formats and are not actual interview content. Stage timings are configured per hiring round and change between campaigns — always check the instructions in your own invitation.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, who act as merchant of record for all purchases. Marking is generated by an AI system and is a practice aid, not a prediction of any airline's decision.
